Frequently Asked Questions
-
Getting answers shouldn't have to feel overwhelming.
At Cloud Care, we've designed the evaluation process to feel comfortable, personal, and easy to navigate from the very beginning. We provide Autism Spectrum evaluations for toddlers, children, adolescents, and adults using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), along with professional clinical assessment.
We'll guide you through each step, explain what to expect, and give you the opportunity to ask questions along the way. You can focus on yourself or your family while we help guide the process.
By the end, our goal is for you to feel that you understand more than you did when you started—with greater clarity about individual strengths and needs and a clear idea of what comes next.
-
No. We come to you.
Instead of adding an unfamiliar office, travel, waiting rooms, and another change in routine to the experience, Cloud Care offers evaluations in the comfort of your own home.
For children especially, familiar surroundings can help the experience feel more natural. For parents and adults, it simply means one less thing to worry about.
You can stay where you're comfortable. We'll come to you.
-
You won't be handed results and left wondering what to do with them.
We'll help you understand the findings, what they may mean in everyday life, and what options are available moving forward.
Recommendations are personalized around the individual's strengths, needs, circumstances, and goals and may include therapy, behavioral support, educational resources, accommodations, additional services, or other appropriate next steps.
Instead of leaving with more questions, our goal is for you to leave with answers, direction, and a path forward.
-
Yes. Understanding your needs is an important first step. Helping the people around you understand those needs can be the next one.
When clinically appropriate, Cloud Care can provide professional letters and recommendations for schools, educational personnel, employers, or human resources departments regarding appropriate accommodations.
We'll help translate what we've learned through the evaluation into practical recommendations that can support everyday life.
-
No two people come to therapy with the same experiences, strengths, challenges, or goals—and treatment shouldn't look the same for everyone either.
At Cloud Care, we take the time to understand the individual first. From there, therapy is shaped around their specific needs and may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, trauma-informed care, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, and behavioral approaches.
As needs change and progress is made, the approach can change too. The goal is to provide thoughtful, personalized support that makes sense for the individual and helps create meaningful progress that carries into everyday life.
-
No. Cloud Care provides psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, developmental, and life challenges.
You don't need an Autism diagnosis—or any existing diagnosis—to reach out.
And you don't need to know exactly what kind of help you're looking for. You can simply tell us what's been going on. We'll start there.
-
We'll determine that together.
For children and adolescents, parents and caregivers can be important partners in helping progress continue beyond the therapy session. We'll help you understand where your involvement can be most useful while also creating space for your child to feel comfortable and understood.
For adults, family involvement can be incorporated when it is appropriate, helpful, and desired by the client.
The process is individualized because every person—and every family—is different.
